電腦上有許多專門的搜尋軟體，利用檔案格式的特性達到快速搜尋的效果，不過就無法利用在網路磁碟上，這時候可以試試看 LAN Search Pro 這一套搜尋工具，是專門為網路芳鄰、網路磁碟所設計的搜尋軟體，就算檔案是放在共享的網路磁碟，依然可以有效率地來搜尋。像我公司也有共用的網路磁碟存放大家的報告、技術文件之類的，用 LAN Search Pro 來搜尋應該會加速不少唷！


除了搜尋檔案的功能外，在設定內可以調整檔案的時間範圍、檔案大小，預設是整個區域網路的分享都會掃描，也可以指定單一的電腦，搜尋的深度也能指定，也就是所謂的資料夾深度，看要開啟幾層子資料夾來搜尋。若是 FTP 以網路磁碟的方式掛載，那麼也可以搜尋 FTP 內的檔案，因此也能算是 FTP 的檔案搜尋工具。
